  Made in Canada

These elegant earrings combine the beauty of satin silk with First Nation designs by Kwakwaka'wakw/Tlingit artist Corrine Hunt. Each piece is unique. These beautiful earrings are 2" x 0.75" and come with sterling silver hooks.

Corrine Hunt was born in Alert Bay, BC in 1959. Her uncle, engraver Norman Brotchie, is responsible for introducing her to Kwakwaka'wakw art and the art of jewellery making. In addition to precious metals, Hunt also excels at sculpting stainless steel and reclaimed wood. Operating under the concept of "living culture", Hunt creates fine art objects that are both beautiful and functional. She is lauded for designing the logo for the World Peace Forum held in Vancouver in 2006, and for co-designing the medals for the 2010 Vancouver Olympic games.
