Noel Brown - Coast Salish Artist

Coast Salish artist Noel Brown is a member of the Snuneymux First Nation of the East Coast of Vancouver Island. He began carving professionally in 1995 and received inspiration from James Lewis, a prominent Northwest Coast artist. He has also worked and learned from other talented artists such as Richard Baker, Matthew Baker, and Darin Lewis. Noel is renowned for his Coast Salish art and clean designs. His art can be found in galleries and private collections around the world. His carvings are on public display at the Nanaimo B.C. Museum, as well as at the B.C. Ferried Departure Bay terminal, cruise ship terminal, and other public areas.
