Artist Bio
Rooted in a family tradition of artists, I was inspired from an early age by the creativity of my mother, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Though my passion for art took a back seat during my years devoted to sports and health science studies, it was reignited when I moved to a remote community in the Northwest Territories. Surrounded by the rugged landscape and untouched beauty of the North, I reconnected with my love of sketching and creating. Today, I continue to draw inspiration from my environment, grateful for the opportunity to live in the moment and share my creativity with others.

The Intelligence artwork was designed by Eric Parnell. Eric Parnell has been active as an artist since 2002, yet his artistic heritage as a member of the Eagle clan of British Columbia’s Haida Nation goes back many centuries. In this design, the eagle represents intelligence and the feather symbolizes the path each person walks in life. The eagles and eagle feathers are presented in flowing lines to demonstrate how our experiences and intelligence are entwined.
