A Haida salmon chases a school of small fish. The salmon is composed of two layers of cut metal, one brushed steel and one powder-coated black steel, creating tremendous depth and interest in the fish's body. The smaller fish are rendered in brushed steel, creating a contrast in the visual weight of the fish. The strong lines of the carving create a powerful sense of movement.
