These beautifully handcrafted sealskin and felt Ulu ornaments were created by Inuk artist Leanne Thompson, who learned the traditional ways of Inuit craft from her Grandmother, Manitok Catherine Thompson, the first Inuk woman to be elected to the Northwest Territories and later the Nunavut legislatures.
